ColossalCon '13:
I'm probably going to head up for a Friday and Saturday daytrip (June 7, 8), gas is currently far cheaper than a hotel stay, even at the motel across the road from Kalahari. If there's anyone on the East Side who's interested, I've got two (three if my sister decides against going) spare seats in the car and a hatchback, so I should be able to haul at least one or two outsize objects.
Academic Year:
Flying colors. My GPA for the semester was 3.84. I just have to keep it up, and even if I can't get a job, I'll probably have an assistantship stipend in the fall. Other than that, there won't be much to talk about involving my studies until August.
Jobs:
On Wednesday, I have an interview with GCRTA scheduled for an engineering internship. In addition, I have an upcoming interview for NASA Pathways.
Art:
The work on Solarstorm is underway again, although I still need to finish one art trade with BlueEyedWolf. With luck, I'll be able to take commissions later this summer.
RC Aircraft:
The Sky Surfer V1 trainer is on order from ReadyMade RC. (They're the closest place that carries that style of pusher motorglider, and the fact that they carry kit FPV equipment my result in some very interesting projects...eventually.)
